Photopiece was held afterschool on Tuesdays in the Spring of 2008. 10 students participated, and 2 students served as Teacher’s Assistants. The TA’s also assisted in setting up the darkroom at MCLC, and testing and learning how to use the photographic darkroom equipment.

The show prints were made by master printer Leor Levine, who teaches alternative and experimental printing techniques at The Art Center in Pasadena. We were honored to have him teach our TA’s his unique LITH printing, which is why these custom fiber prints have a special antique patina to them.
